Journal of Basic and Clinical Pharmacy signs collaboration agreement with Medknow Publications-Wolters Kluwer Health
We are proud to announce that the Global Scientific Research Forum’s official publication Journal of Basic and Clinical Pharmacy (JBCP) founded in December, 2009 by Drs. Sree Harsha and Sripathi M. Sureban has signed collaboration agreement with Medknow Publications, which is a part of Wolters Kluwer Health. Medknow Publications was founded in 1997 and is one of the largest open access publishers worldwide with nearly 200 medical journals.
Since launching in 2009, JBCP has been accredited as an international journal with diverse editorial board members and reviewers across the world. The articles published in JBCP have been indexed in Google Scholar, EBSCO, Chemical Abstract, Open J-Gate and Index Copernicus.
Wolters Kluwer Health is a leading global provider of information, business intelligence and point-of-care solutions for the healthcare industry. Major brands include Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, Ovid®, UpToDate®, Medi- Span®, Facts & Comparisons®, Pharmacy OneSource®, Lexicomp® and ProVation® Medical. Medknow Publications has been recently acquired by Wolters Kluwer Health expanding its access to medical content in the world-wide market. [1]
Medknow Publications will be the official publisher of JBCP starting October, 2012. As a partner of Medknow Publications, JBCP will have expanded reach to the medical and scientific community. Th is will be a major step forward in our efforts to improve the readership for the journal, which is intended to feature the very best articles, advancements or developments in the field of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Research. This will also help JBCP to fulfill its motto of being a coherent media and bring together scientists and academicians in Pharmaceutical Research, to promote translational synergy between Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Medicine and Public Health. With this merger, it is expected to attract many more national and international scientist and avid global readership for JBCP. Furthermore, with this advancement, we are expecting more submission of new articles from around the world. We have planned to work with Medknow Publications to publish quality articles faster with shorter time span between submissions to acceptance to publication. JBCP is expected to be receive an official ISI impact factor and indexed in PubMed in 2014.
